Coffee and Cake Trips
New this year, these 1hour 30 minute trips will leave Hungerford Wharf at 11.30am on the same days as our very popular Cream Tea Cruises (see below). A perfect chance to travel along a particularly pretty stretch of the Kennet and Avon Canal. Treat the family or catch up with some friends while enjoying a coffee, tea or soft drink and a slice of delicious home-made cake.
The Rose will leave Hungerford and head eastwards to Lower Denford and through Dun Mill Lock. After the boat turns round and takes you back to the Wharf.
Coffee and Cake Trip Prices:
Adults: £12.00 ; Children: £8.00;
Family (2 Adults & 2 Children) £38
Tickets include a cup of coffee, tea or a soft drink with a slice of cake.
Children under 3 are free but refreshments are not included.

Cream Tea Cruises
Cream Tea Cruises are held most Bank Holiday Mondays at 2.30pm. So join us for yet another cream tea trip where everyone will be served scone, jam & cream with tea, coffee or a soft drink. If you have a particular dietary requirement just give us a call.
These trips depart from Hungerford wharf and last about 2 1/2 hours, going through two locks and then returning to the Wharf.
Cream Tea Prices:
Adults: £14.00 ; Children: £10.00; Family (2 Adults & 2 Children £46) Tickets include a cup of coffee, tea or a soft drink with scone, jam, and cream

Caledonian Cruise
This 1hour 30 minute trip is a chance to savour the delights of the Kennet and Avon Canal together with foot tapping musical entertainment by Judith and Ian from the ‘Craigellachie Scottish Country Dance Band’ http://www.craigellachie-band. co.uk. Judith is a volunteer crew member on the Rose of Hungerford and they will be playing a selection of favourites; one of which may be the appropriately titled “Machine Without Horses”. While they are playing you will be served tea and shortbread, and the onboard bar will be open if you would like to purchase a “wee dram” to complete this unique Scottish experience

Hungerford Summer Festival Special
A perfect way to spend a summer afternoon. 2hours 30 minutes on the Rose of Hungerford on the beautiful Kennet and Avon Canal with some special extra treats. We are delighted to welcome back harpist, Ellie Prout (https://www.handsonharps.com/about-us/) as you cruise gently along enjoying strawberries and cream and a glass of sparkling wine. An idyllic interlude to be enjoyed with family and friends.

Santa Trips
Join us for a 1 hour festive cruise along the Kennet and Avon Canal. Father Christmas will be there and refreshments will be provided for all.
Trips start from Canal Walk, Hungerford, RG17 0EQ (just off the High Street) and return there 1 hour later.
Ticket price £9, this includes a gift for each child.
